Describe your family. Significant other? Children? I’ve been with my husband Mark for 15 years. We are the true Brady Bunch as a blended family of 8 (we each bring three children to our marriage). Our children are grown with ages ranging from 19 to 35. We have five awesome grandkids, including a set of 2.5-year-old twins.

Do you have a license or degree? If so, in what, from where? BS Business Administration from Indiana University Northwest.

Describe your professional background / history? I’m a true high achieving, corporate America dropout. I’ve spent the last 20 years in business development and key account management roles for various industries (industrial laundry service, payroll/HR tech sales, contract manufacturing in the food industry, and specialized transportation services).

You recently started a small business / service. Tell us about that journey. My journey came to fruition as I had somewhat reached a crossroads in life. We are (almost) empty nesters as our youngest is a freshman in college. I really was searching for a hobby or side hustle that would bring me a sense of purpose and allow me to spend more time with my grandkids and family. At the same time, my sense of normalcy came to a screeching halt when a chronic illness I’ve battled for 10 years, POTS, reared its ugly head. A series of viruses and a stressed immune system sent me into a flare that landed me in the hospital for a week. It was from there that my heart started to stir for change and less work stress. Shortly after, I scored a new detergent, and a coworker complimented that my laundry always smelled amazing. Out of the blue, I told my family about an idea to start a laundry delivery service. With overwhelming support, my crazy idea quickly became “Fold & Flow Laundry Co.” Within a few weeks, I took the biggest risk of my life and made the decision to trade in my salary to throw every ounce of energy I had to turn this idea into a successful business. I have loved every second of this journey.

How did you discover your passion? I have a true passion for helping others. Starting Fold & Flow Laundry Co. was truly a no brainer. It was my opportunity to pair my business skills with my passion to serve others. I’ve been doing my family's laundry for years and I’m good at it. I’ve also been the busy, overwhelmed working mom that’s had piles of laundry and not enough time in my week. I’ve used a home cleaning service for years and know the feeling of coming home from work to a spotless home. Why not give the same feeling to others by delivering them back their clean, fresh smelling laundry? My goal has been to give families and individuals back more time in their day-to-day to enjoy life. I have felt so much joy seeing my clients accomplish this!

What mark do you hope to leave on your industry? I hope I inspire others to help where there is a need. I truly hope I’m able to lighten the load for many over the next several years. My goal is for my clients to see that it’s not just laundry, but instead that it’s a service that offers the gift to slow down, breathe, and be present by skipping the mundane chores that steal their time and energy.

What’s next for you? Grow, grow, and grow some more.

What are you most proud of in your life personally and/or professionally? Personally, hands down, my children. Not only have I raised successful adults, but I’ve raised great humans with great hearts. Professionally, I’ve poured my heart and high achieving work ethic into every role I’ve held. I’m proud to have always found success and made a difference. That work ethic has been a great example to my children.

What advice would you give your younger self? Another woman on the path to finding her calling? Dream big, Pray often. Be present and find joy in what you do.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing? I love spending quality time with my grandkids, family, and friends. It really doesn’t matter what we do, it’s just about spending quality time with lots of love and laughter.

If you’re on a pursuit to wealth, then changing your language to more positive maxims will help you chart your way. That’s what Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is - a way for you to change your thoughts and behaviors to achieve a specific outcome. It is the basic language of our mind to engineer the results we want in life. In this case it could be wealth, debt freedom, financial independence. or D. All of the above.

There is a link between the structure of which you speak about money and the propensity of how you handle your money (budgeting, saving, investing, etc). And this isn’t some woo-woo BS. Hear me out.

Do you want to earn more money? I don’t know anyone who would answer “no.” And I’m sure if you were to audit your life, I’m almost certain that you’ve wanted to earn more money for a long time. If you’ve felt stuck for some time, you likely haven’t audited your mindset around money.

So how do you audit your mindset?

Bring awareness to the core beliefs you have around money. Maybe you’re uncomfortable talking about it. Maybe you think money is evil, money is sacrifice, money is bad, money requires too much work, money is scarce, money is greed, money is hard to get, money is stressful.

Do you think the wealthiest 1% had these core beliefs around money? Maybe at some point. But their language & mindset around money had to pivot at some point for them to become wealthy.

Let me give you an example…

Ask yourself this question: What is stopping me from having money? Now stop for a second, because I actually don’t want you to answer that question.

Here’s why: If you read that question again, you may notice that a question like that may open up fears you have, emotions, conflict, doubts, past memories, or pain.

With that question, your answers could sound something like this:

  • Getting rich is too hard to do.

  • I didn’t grow up with money, so I can’t get it.

  • If I have too much money, people will look at me differently and treat me differently.

  • I’m afraid of working hard only to fail in the end.

  • I don’t deserve large sums of money.

  • I’m afraid money will change me.

  • If I have a lot of money, people will take advantage of me.

  • If I become wealthy, people will be less genuine and want me for my money.

Can you hear the limiting beliefs? It’s because that question is shit. According to NLP, having limiting beliefs, conscious or not, may be the single variable holding you back from having a life of opulence.

So what’s a better question? One that gives you empowering beliefs rather than limiting.

What does wealth look like for you?

  • Wealth looks like a life of abundance and giving back.

  • Wealth looks like preparing the next generation for financial success.

  • Wealth gives me time with my family and people who matter to me.

Answer that question for yourself. Don’t give yourself the right answer, give yourself the real answer. Because a person with these kinds of beliefs can truly have wealth, financial independence, debt freedom, etc.

And although this all sounds like sugar plum princess gum drops woo-woo. It’s not. In areas other than money, I’ve seen firsthand how making the conscious decision to change your thoughts and behaviors can change your life.

Your mind is more powerful and influential than you may think, as it has the ability to sabotage what you really covet in life.

Let me give you some credence.

I grew up very poor. My Dad (not sure if that deserves a capital “D”), left when I was three years old. He stole our family car (under my mother’s name), racked up credit card debt (under my mother’s name), and wound up homeless.

My Mom (deserves the capital “M” with a crown) was an immigrant to the U.S., and unfortunately, she ended up filing bankruptcy, not once, but twice. She didn’t speak English very well to get a job, so she cleaned neighbor’s homes. We had weekly garage sales to put food on the table. The hustle never stopped.

Things didn’t get better for a long time. Until they did.

My Mom is a great example of someone who knew she deserved to be financially independent. She had every reason to believe that she didn’t. But rather than focusing on what she didn’t have, or being resentful for where she was, she made the conscious decision to not only be a Super Mom, but also a debt free, financially independent woman.

And that she is.

Abundance is not what she had, but it was her state of mind. Her language and mindset around money not only got her to where she is today, but it subsequently gave me an abundance mentality too.

Living in poverty, it’s easier to form a Depression era mentality. From there breeds the unconscious limiting beliefs that you will always struggle financially.

So what can you do?

Start with identifying your limiting beliefs around money. Once you’ve identified subconscious imprints, you can begin to shift your language around money and break down financial barriers. Hence, “linguistic” programming.

For example: “I’ll never have enough money” —> “Prosperity exists within me.”

Rather than thinking of things you don’t have, expand your mental frame a bit and focus more on what’s possible for you.

A little tip: when you talk about money, it should make you feel good. If it doesn’t feel good, try again.

Wealth is for you. Debt freedom is in your future. Financial independence is in your power.

Money moves. Now, reel it in.

Here’s the thing about summer—it doesn’t wait for us to “get it together.” It just shows up, glowing, loud, and unapologetically fabulous. And whether you're in your floaty-girl era or just trying to remember where you put your sunglasses... it’s okay to meet the season exactly as you are.

This summer, we’re letting go of the pressure to “do it all” and focusing on feeling it all—the joy, the rest, the fun, the quiet. Here’s how I’m soaking up summer, one real-life moment at a time:

1. Eat the peach. Wear the linen. Say yes to the ice cream.

Summer isn’t the time to overthink. It’s the time to say yes to messy, sweet, simple pleasures. Eat outside. Take your shoes off. Laugh until your cheeks hurt.

2. Romanticize your own backyard.

You don’t need a passport to feel magic. Light some citronella candles, grab a book or a friend, and enjoy your own little slice of sunshine.

3. Be the main character at the grocery store.

Throw on the oversized sunglasses. Blast your favorite song. Buy the flowers. Summer is your runway—even in the produce aisle.

4. Redefine the "hot girl walk."

It’s not about distance—it’s about vibes. A walk with your favorite playlist, iced drink, and a tiny moment to check in with yourself? Mood booster, unlocked.

5. Keep your joy low-maintenance.

You don’t need a packed calendar. A chilled drink, a good convo, and a moment to breathe? That’s luxury living, honestly.

So here’s your summer love letter:

Let this season meet you where you are. Soak up the sun, the softness, the silliness. Let your heart breathe. Let your mind wander. Let yourself be fully in the moment—even if the moment is just you, your iced coffee, and five glorious minutes of silence.

You deserve it all.
